Okay, so I've been slacking with the bullet journal. I got busy enough with work to forget to keep up on it. It's made me miss a few things that shouldn't have slipped through the cracks.
I haven't done much with psignify. I need to add embedded signatures, then I can add encryption around that. The plan is to support sign then encrypt: the encryption step provides a MAC to authenticate the ciphertext, and signing the message before encryption means the signer saw the plaintext before signing. Which reminds me, I need to reread a bunch of security engineering stuff in preparation for the next few weeks; I have a legitimate fear that I've been out of it for too long. Some things I think I'm going to try to get to:
- Defective Sign & Encrypt in S/MIME, PKCS#7, MOSS, PEM, PGP, and XML
- RFC 7539: ChaCha20 and Poly1305 for IETF Protocols
Still need to find some platform security stuff. It would have been nice to get the Thinkpad doing its thing but I don't think it will be ready in time.
Took the drone out for a bit this week; I've missed flying and it was nice to scratch that itch even a little. Also, the Mavic Air is just a lot of fun to fly.
